All City of Monroe Offices, Monroe City Court, Monroe Civic Center, Monroe Community (Recreation) Centers, and Masur Museum of Art will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Monroe Transit, Chennault Park Golf Course and Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22; and, will be open on Friday, Nov. 23. Garbage Schedule All garbage normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Garbage will be collected as normal on Friday, Nov. 23.
