Hurricane warnings

The TV warnings and the reactions of people makes me think of the fact that our Lord Jesus also knew about storms. In Luke Chapter 8:23, we find Jesus and his disciples in the middle of them.

The wind was howling and the waves were "raging." The disciples were afraid. The Lord calmed that storm.

Children of God are often "caught up in a storm." There are, you know, different kinds of storms.

That "storm" was over who is the true God — Baal or Jehovah that storm broke — Elijah called on God.
