Church collecting gift shoeboxes posted Thursday, November 15th, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  Fair Park Baptist Church is in the midst of its annual Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. The collection period runs through Monday, Nov. 19. Dropoff hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday; noon-6 p.m. Sunday; and 8 a.m-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19. Donors are asked to fill a shoe box with a variety of item for children. Most contain toys, candy, coloring books, T-shirts, socks, gloves, toothbrushes and other hygiene items.  Fair Park Baptist is located at 4412 White's Ferry Road in West Monroe.
