Vietnam Memorial wall returns to Chennault

Nell Calloway has dozens of heart-rending stories about the hundreds of veterans who visited a miniaturized version of the Vietnam Memorial wall when the memorial last visited northeast Louisiana.

Those stories are part of the reason Calloway was keen to host the wall's return to the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum, which Calloway manages.

"It's very important that we remember these men," said Calloway.

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall returns to the museum this week. Calloway was on hand Monday at the regular meeting of the Ouachita Parish Republican Women's Club to promote the return of the memorial.
