Salute to veterans slated for Nov. 7

All active and retired veterans who are current students or employees of the University of Louisiana at Monroe will be honored at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, in Scott Plaza near the ULM Library.

The ULM Veterans Day program will feature guest speaker and ULM sociology graduate General Joanne Sheridan (B.A. '83), the first ever female brigadier general for the Louisiana National Guard. ULM President Dr. Nick J. Bruno and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Wayne Brumfield will also speak.

Students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community are welcome to attend.
ULM's Office of Career Connections and the ULM Veterans Day Committee are sponsoring the event.
