Ouachita Lions travel to Pineville for Rebel contest by Zach Parker - posted Thursday, October 25th, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  The Ouachita Parish Lions hit the road for their final district contest in Pineville against the Rebels, 2-5A adversaries, on Friday night. The Lions improved their season and district records to 6-2 and 2-1 with last week's 29-20 win against the visiting Natchitoches Central Chiefs. The Lions lost the District 2-5A lead to the West Monroe Rebels (3-0), but hope to end the district season strong against Pineville's Rebels (5-3, 0-2). The Rebels come to Friday's contest after three straight losses most recently including last week's 42-7 loss to New Iberia and a 21-14 loss to Natchitoches Central before that. .....
