Early voting begins next week
Voters will begin casting early ballots next week when early voting for the Nov. 6 general election opens at polling places throughout the state.
Early voting locations will open Tuesday, Oct. 23 and will close Oct. 30. Polls will be open every day, except Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.,
Voters in Ouachita Parish can cast early ballots can do so at the Ouachita Parish Registrar of Voters office at 122 St. John St. in Monroe. Also, Ouachita voters can cast early ballots at the Chennault Military Museum at 701 Kansas Ln. on the following days:
Friday, Oct. 26;
Saturday, Oct. 27;
Monday, Oct. 29;
Tuesday, Oct. 30;
