The West Monroe Rebels stomped the visiting Ouachita Parish Lions in last week's District 2-5A bout, 35-7. The 5A win gave the Rebels a 2-0 lead as they hit the road to play the Ruston Bearcats Friday night while the Lions host the visiting Natchitoches Central Chiefs. The defending 5A state champion Rebels (6-1, 2-0) have two more district games slated with Ruston (3-4, 0-2) and Natchitoches Central (6-1, 1-0). .....
