Bomb scare investigation continues

No arrests have been made, but investigators with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office and the Monroe Police Department are cooperating to investigate bomb threats at three schools in Ouachita Parish earlier this week.

A caller phone 911 Monday and said bombs had been placed at St. Frederick High School, Ouachita Christian School and River Oaks School. The threat prompted the evacuation of all three schools just as the day started.

Officers swept the campuses and found no explosive devices. River Oaks dismissed classes for the day, while Ouachita Christian and St. Frederick resumed classes for the day.
