At a recent meeting of the City Council, Councilman Eddie Clark questioned a $50,000 spending request from Mayor Jamie Mayo's administration. "What are we paying for with that money?" Clark said during the Sept. 11 meeting. Mayo detailed some of the expenses, which include paying for security, some convention materials and providing a welcome reception for conference attendees. .....
