Church hosts candidate forum posted Thursday, September 20th, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  St. James United Methodist Church will host a Meet-And-Greet for candidates vying for seats on the Monroe City Council on Saturday, Sept. 22.     Organizers for the event — which will begin at 3 p.m. — say it will provide contenders for positions in districts 2, 3, and 4 the opportunity to share with voters their vision for the city and their respective council districts.
