LSU's defense among nation's best entering SEC play by LSU - posted Thursday, September 20th, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  ­Despite losing six starters from last year's defense that ranked among the best in the nation, this year's group of Tiger defenders hasn't missed a beat through the first three weeks of the season as LSU again has one of the top units in college football. Second-ranked LSU will face its stiffest test of the season on Saturday as the Tigers travel to face Auburn at 6 p.m. CT in Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. LSU brings a 3-0 overall record into the Auburn game following last week's 63-14 victory over Idaho. All three of LSU's wins have come by double-figures.
