McFarland accuses board of 'illegal' acts Did the Monroe City School Board break state laws when it appointed an interim chief academic officer?
That's the question School Board member Rodney McFarland wants answered. McFarland raised that question during a regular meeting of the School Board Tuesday evening.
McFarland missed the Aug. 21 board meeting, where the School Board unanimously approved appointing Dr. Tammye Turpin as CAO. Speaking Tuesday, McFarland accused the School Board of malfeasance for committing what he termed "illegal actions by the board."
