Duck Dynasty member wows Chambers

Allen Robinson is used to life in a spotlight. After all, he's been in the ministry for almost 20 years.

But it's attention of a new sort that has brought a lasting fame to Robinson and his family. A hit reality television program on A&E has provided the clan with international attention.

"We speak all around the country," Robinson said. "Someone is somewhere in the U.S. every weekend."

Robinson delivered the keynote address at a joint meeting of the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce Diplomats and Monroe Chamber Ambassadors, held Wednesday in West Monroe.

Robinson recalled how three generations — his grandfather, father and himself — spent time in a shack behind the family's house, crafting duck calls.
