Rebel's Day plays for Miss. State Bulldogs

Two years ago, Mississippi State freshman Dillon Day was working out with no anticipation of getting any playing time as a Bulldog after a standout career at West Monroe High School.

State coaches decided to redshirt Day for the 2010 season and he would spend time on the scout team and reserve offensive lineman.

Two years later, the 6-foot, 300-pound Day is set to return as the starting center for the Bulldogs, and was recently named to the 2012 Rimington Trophy Watch List, given to the nation's best center.
