OPSO traffic stop nets 22 pounds of cocaine A Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office deputy is getting the credit for a massive drug bust that netted some 22 pounds of cocaine.
The bust took place in the early morning hours Tuesday, when an OPSO patrolman observed a 2005 Dodge Durango commit a traffic offense.
The deputy, who was not named, performed a routine traffic stop and made contact with the driver. That's when events turned, according to OPSO Dy. Cody Ibanez.
