Home invasion hospitalizes victim posted Thursday, September 6th, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  A home invasion in Eros sent a woman to the hospital and the alleged perpetrator to jail. Clifton Hayden Caughlin, 30, of Eros, was arrested on a single charge of home invasion and booked into Ouachita Correctional Center. On the night of Aug. 30, Ouachita Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call at a residence on Chad Drive, in Eros. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim with trauma to her face. "The victim stated that a white male gained entry into her home and beat her in the face while she was in bed," said OPSO investigator Randy Evans.
