August is greeting us with the end of the Olympic Games in which the United States excelled. Neville is working toward charter school status, while seeking another 4A state championship in football. LSU is ranked No. 1 in the preseason college ratings so we have much to look forward to doing and seeing.

And the writing of Alice Erbe, a 52-year-old who is penning a lasting legacy after living some 20 years as a resident of St. Joseph's home. 

Karen Manning Gibbons recognized Alice's  gift with poetry and shared Alice's message which so touched our hearts...

Martha Jane Anderson retired from University of Louisiana-Monroe after 35 years of service as Assistant Dean of Students and SGA Advisor. She is married to Patrick H. Anderson Sr., has two children, and four grandchildren.
