November qualifying begins Aug. 18 posted Thursday, August 2nd, 2012 @ 12:00 pm  E-mail Story |  Print Story  Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court Louise Bond says her staff is preparing for a busy qualifying period ahead of elections in November. In addition to the U.S. Presidential election, the Nov. 6 ballot will also contain a number of local and regional offices. The ballot will include the 5th Congressional District and all five Monroe City Council seats. Qualifying for the Monroe City Council will take place at the Ouachita Parish Courthouse Aug. 15, 16 and 17, until 5 p.m. each day.
