For the fans - ULM and La Tech host football Fan Days With a little more than a month away from the kickoff to the college football season, the University of Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana Tech University are looking to spread the football spirit to their fans.
ULM Warhawk Fan & Media Day - Aug. 12
The ULM Football team will host its free fan appreciation and media day event on August 12th inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Warhawk players and coaches will be available for meet-and-greet, autographs and photos during the event. During this time fans can also purchase season tickets and join or renew their ULMAF membership.
There will also be a bounce house for young Warhawk fans to enjoy and registration for the Jr. Warhawk club will also take place.
Media members will also have the opportunity to interview ULM coaches and players during the event. The ULM media relations staff will be in attendance to assist with setting up interviews during the 75-minute event.
La Tech to host Fan Day in Shreveport & Ruston Louisiana Tech will hold two primary opportunities to meet and greet players and get autographs this August with two "Fan Fests" that will allow fans to better interact with players one-onone.
As part of a Bulldog Day in Shreveport, Louisiana Tech will host football practice, press conference and Fan Fest at Independence Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 18. The team will begin practicing at 6 p.m. with the Club Level open to all fans wanting to watch a Tech practice. Immediately following practice, the players will head up to the club level for a picture and autograph session.
For Tech fans not able to make it to Shreveport, the Bulldogs will hold another fan interaction and autograph session on the Joe Aillet Stadium field on Sunday, Aug. 12. The start time has not been set yet but will be announced at a later date.
With two separate fan interaction and autograph sessions, Bulldog fans have twice the opportunity to get to meet and interact with their favorite college football players. |
