Let the Games begin! Olympic Games begin! This will be exciting to watch. We talked about trying to go but decided it would be easier at our age just to watch them in the comfort of our home.
Speaking of home, I have not been this upset in a very long time. The Historical Committee for the so called city appointed, neighborhood appointed "Garden District!" What in the world? As the old saying goes" There is something rotten in Denmark."
This old worn out neighborhood, that I love, have lived in most of my life, own maybe more property than anyone, my home, my roots. I am passionate about every old tree, bush, little houses, big houses, my neighbors, beautiful Grace Church, the prettiest church in town, Georgia Tucker, Neville, Forsythe Park, Biedenharn Gardens and Bible Research Center, The Coca-Cola Museum, the trees on Riverside Drive by the levee… you get the picture. I love the Garden District and I love our community and want the best for all.
