CFC workshops focus on preventing child abuse

The Center for Children and Families is hosting two workshops to help prevent child sexual abuse and the impact of an estimated 40 million victims in the U.S.

The two workshops are set for Monday, August 13 at 6 p.m. at Columbia Heights Baptist Church in Columbia, and for Saturday, August 18 at 9 a.m., at the Madison Parish Public Library in Tallulah.

These workshops were created by Darkness to Light, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse.
