Union hosts 21st Tennessee Walking Horse Show

Former Farmerville Mayor Willie Davis and former police officer Ralph Reppond will be honored at the Union Parish Chamber of Commerce's 21st annual Tennessee Walking Horse Show, to be held at 7 p.m. July 20 and July 21.

"Some of the first supporters of the show were Mayor Davis and Officer Reppond," said show chairman Jayne Smith-Green. "With a love for community events as well as this thoroughbred, both gentlemen have been avid supporters."

Willie Davis, former Mayor of Farmerville for four terms, has been a fan of Tennessee Walking Horses all his life. "Mayor Davis has never missed a show in the 21 years running. Rain or shine or sick, you would see the mayor," said Scotty Aulds, show announcer.
