Police Jury targets 21 roads for repairs Twenty-one roads will be replaced, patched or repaired in the coming months as part of a $2.5-million road program approved by the Ouachita Parish Police Jury. Approval of the 2012 Road Program was among the items on the Police Jury agenda for its regular meeting Monday night.
The parish road program is the product of collaboration among individual police jurors, the Police Jury Public Works Department and consulting engineer Kevin Crosby.
Police Juror Mack Calhoun, who chairs the Police Jury Public Works Committee, said the 2012 program was "fair overall."
