Litter summit aims for results
Police Juror Pat Moore hopes that, one day, people will stop littering.
Until that day comes, though, local governments, businesses and non-profit groups must deal with what Moore calls a growing problem.
To that end, Moore organized a parish-wide summit aimed at addressing the growing problem of litter and illegal dumping.
The summit took place Tuesday afternoon, in Monroe.
