"Bubba" Chaney as Legislator of the Year at its annual conference in Baton Rouge. Rep. Chaney was selected for the award because of his outstanding service and dedication to rural residents. "Rep. Chaney is a firm and loyal supporter of rural issues, working diligently on several key rural initiatives that will greatly enhance the quality of life in northeast Louisiana," said coalition president, Linda Welch.
