Love is spelled T-I-M-E
by Martha Jane Anderson - posted Read More…
Through friends Clara Munholland Montgomery, Jo Marie Ellett Hanna and Armande McHenry Kennedy, we received a clipping from the 1912 newspaper's society column that is a "must read."  The following are excerpts: "The Women's Missionary Society met with Mrs. J.M. Munholland in her cozy cottage home on the West Side in the Trenton neighborhood. At 3 o'clock, the Dixieland Boat was anchored to the shore near the now Forsythe Park, awaiting the coming of the guests who on arrival enjoyed the sail across the Ouachita River. Mrs. Munholland received the guests ushering them into her home which was beautiful and fragrant with sweet peas and nasturtiums. Mrs. Fred C. Bennett read the scripture lesson after which an interesting program of readings were given subject to discussion.  The main theme of the program was "Our Service to Christ."  At the conclusion of the meeting, Mrs. Munholland ushered guests to her porch where they viewed the beautiful river scenery and were cooled by refreshing breezes. They were served a tempting luncheon by the Misses Mattie McGhee, Gladys Walker, Gettie Avery, and Mary Munholland."

Dianne Cage: Eggplant, pepper jelly and vitamins
by Dianne Cage - posted Read More…
I know you are all taking your VITAMINS! Mike Cage is a strong believer in vitamins. We take Beta-Carotene, Lycopene,  E,C, D, Fish Oil, Lutein, Bilberry, Garlic, Flax Seed, Chromium Piccolonate, Coq 10, maybe the best of all is RESVERATROL. This is the extract of the skins of red grapes, used in making red wine. It is the substance that is believed to be the reason for increased longevity in people who consume red wine daily (ie Frenchmen, Spaniards and Italians). One 250 mgm capsule is the equivalent of drinking a bottle of red wine daily — and no headache! They are not cheap but neither is a good red wine!
