WM chamber endorses education reform package
The West Monroe/ West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce says it supports Gov. Bobby Jindal's plans to overhaul education in Louisiana, chamber president Paul Hargrove announced Tuesday.
"The chamber of commerce has been steadfast in our efforts to improve public education in Louisiana and there's much to like among Gov. Bobby Jindal's proposals on changing public education in Louisiana," Hargrove said.
"Whether one agrees with Jindal's plan or not, everybody wants to improve education."
