There seems to be a lot of confusion in today's society about the beginning of life or personhood. For any Bible believing person the answer is quite clear. The Psalmist tells us in Psalm 139:13-14; "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
I firmly believe that life begins at the moment of conception. Who are we to say God's word is not true and determine on our own when life begins. Who gives us the right on choosing to abort a child, no matter the reason, when it is for our good? Who are we to decide that the next person that is aborted will not be another Billy Graham or ordained leader that God sent to us? Several years ago God gave me inspiration to write a poem about abortion and I am sharing it with you today.
