OCS wins 7-3 - Eagles defeat Sterlington
The Ouachita Christian Eagles (10-3) scored six runs in the first three innings in route to a 7-3 win over parish rival the Sterlington Panthers (3-10) on Tuesday at OCS.
Designated hitter Josh Wilkes led the Eagles in batting going 3 for 3 with 1 RBI. Third baseman Zachary Stephenson (2-4, 1 RBI), left fielder Josh Greer (2-3, 1 RBI), shortstop Jordan Washam (1-4, 1 RBI), second baseman Colby Webb (1-4, 1 RBI), first baseman Luke Albritton (2-3, 0 RBIs), right fielder Brice Gillikin (2-4, 0 RBIs) and centerfielder Marc Laird (1-2, 1 RBI) were key contributors at the plate for OCS.
Braden Bristo (3-0) pitched a complete game for OCS striking out seven and only allowing 4 hits to the powerful Panther lineup. Chet Parks (1-2) took the loss for Sterlington.
