Lady Tigers on a roll - Junior pitcher Megan Lively dominates Bastrop

Neville Lady Tiger junior pitcher Megan Lively struck out 17 Lady Rams and did not allow a hit as Neville dominated the home team Bastrop Lady Rams in route to 5-0 win to open district play this past Tuesday.

The Neville Lady Tigers softball team is off to a fantastic start for the 2012 season. With an overall record of11-1 overall and a 1-0 mark in district, the Lady Tigers are ranked number one in Class 4A in the latest power ranking poll by www.kenramsey.com.

"The girls are putting the ball in play," Neville head coach Jeff Tannehill said. "We are hitting the ball well which is helping our pitchers."

The Lady Tigers have been a force at the plate as their starting lineup has a batting average of .369 as a team.
