Early voting begins Saturday
Voters hoping to cast early ballots in the March 24 primary will be afforded the opportunity to do so beginning this weekend.
Early voting for the presidential primary elections as well as for a host of local elections begins Saturday morning, March 10, at the Ouachita Parish Registrar of Voters office.
Registrar of Voters Christa Medaries expects early voting to be somewhat brisk.
"We expect to be busy, especially with the Monroe City Mayor's race on the ballot," said Medaries.
