WMHS presents classic American tale

The West Monroe High School Theatre will present the classic American tale, "The Devil and Daniel Webster," by Stephen Vincent Benet.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the auditorium.

The famous historical figure, politician and orator, Daniel Webster — played by Joe Michels — takes on Scratch, Spencer Rinehart in a courtroom battle with infamous jury members, presided over by Hathorne, the judge at the Salem witch trials, played by Ryan Kelly. He is assisted by the ominous clerk, Harley Whitlock.
