Memorial United Methodist Church at 401 Sherrouse, Monroe, will hold a Mini-United Christian Ashram on Friday evening and Saturday, March 16-17. 

The Friday evening session will be from 6-8 p.m. at the church with a supper, an Open Heart time together, and then the Evangelist message will be brought by Rev. Brian Mercer, Associate Pastor of Trinity UMC, Ruston.

The Saturday session will begin with a breakfast at 8 a.m., and continues until 3 p.m. with a Bible study by Rev. Fran Guy, Pastor of Wisner and Gilbert United Methodist Churches and a Prayer and Small Group session led by Phillip Cardwell, lay preacher from Ruston. After a luncheon, the day will be finalized with "Overflowing Hearts" and Communion led by Rev. Jimmy Pyles of Memorial UMC.

Pre-registration is open to all denominations. A check for $10 for meals and Ashram materials should be sent to Memorial UMC at 401 Sherrouse, Monroe by March 12.
