Republican women to host fundraiser
The Ouachita Parish Republican Women's Club will host its annual fundraiser Feb. 18 at the American Legion Hall in Monroe.
Former state Rep. Kay Kellogg Katz made that announcement Monday, at the club's regular monthly meeting. Katz serves as president.
This year, the event will feature a traditional barbecue, live entertainment and a little something special, according to Katz.
"We're going to have presidential stump politics," Katz said.
