'New Hope' premieres Friday in West Monroe

R-Squared Productions' latest feature-length film, "New Hope" will premiere at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in West Monroe on Friday, Feb. 10. 

The film, which tackles common teenage issues, features Ben Davies (Courageous), Perry Frost, and Samuel Davis (Abel's Field), as well as hundreds of local extras, basketball players and cheerleaders.  In addition, New Hope features eight songs written and/or performed by local artists. 

The film's director and executive producer, Rodney Ray said, "It's important to R-Squared Productions to make life-changing films while showcasing the talent, beauty, and uniqueness of Ouachita Parish… It's our home, too."  R-Squared Productions carries out all phases of filmmaking, from pre-production to filming to post-production, at its Louisville Avenue office in Monroe.
