BPW speaker focuses on heart health

Monroe-West Monroe Business and Professional Women will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.

Guest speaker will be Kathy Roberts, who will speak about "Heart Health for Women at Any Age." The topic is in conjunction with February being American Heart Month. Roberts has been a nurse for over 20 years. She is a Master's prepared nurse educator with a clinical focus in Critical Care. Additionally she is a the owner Healthcare Education Resource, LLC, which is designed to present courses in Critical Care topics, ECG interpretation, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Critical Thinking and a variety of other nursing topics.

BPW is still accepting new and/or gently used, conservative women's business attire for the annual Dress of Success drive.

The public is invited to attend. The luncheon will be at The Atrium, 2001, Louisville Ave., Monroe. Cost of the buffet is $12.
