Have you ever experienced a change in your life? A job change? An illness? A relationship lost? How did you react? Were you able to meet the challenge head on or did you completely ignore the change hoping and praying it would somehow go away? How we respond to change can have a drastic impact on our life.
Learning how to cope with change and facing the unknown in our everyday lives doesn't happen overnight. Change is a process and if all the factors are present, the result is resilience.
Resilience is not a word we normally hear in our everyday conversations. We hear statements like "Wow, she handled that crisis well" or "he bounced back quicker than I thought he would" when describing others who may have gone through some type of change.
