Most have now seen the new cleaners in town called 'Lapels'. They currently operate two stores in Monroe — one on North 18th Street at Forsythe Avenue and the other at Hwy. 165 North. They are now opening their first West Monroe store at 5500 Cypress Street (Hwy. 80) in the Tuscan Square Shopping Center, located just west of the Well Road intersection.

The owners plan one additional store in our area. The first Lapels in our area opened on 165 North in February 2011. Lapels is a national franchise with stores in more than 12 states and rapidly expanding into other states.
