Breard's 'Early History of Monroe' a treat
A cursory examination of street names in Monroe reveals a deep history steeped in family and tradition.
For one particular man, the history of Monroe is as much a history of his own family.
That's why Sylvester Breard decided to set his family's history down on paper.
That history became a book, Early History of Monroe, published by Pelican last month.
