House members land committees
Members of the state House of Representatives received committee assignments last week.
Included in that list of appointments were legislators from Ouachita Parish who were tapped to serve on several influential House committees.
State Rep. Frank Hoffmann will return to seats on the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Retirement committee. However, it's a new leadership role about which Hoffmann is most excited.
Hoffmann was tasked to serve as vice chairman of the House Health and Welfare Committee.
