Job creation priority for Mayo (Editor's Note: This week The Ouachita Citizen begins a series of articles on the candidates for Monroe mayor. The Citizen chose to begin the series with Mayor Jamie Mayo because he is the incumbent.)
When Jamie Mayo first took the helm of the City of Monroe in 2001, he established a set of goals that he hoped to achieve over time.
Looking back over the past 10 years, Mayo says he has achieved many of the goals he set when he became mayor following the death of Melvin Rambin.
