Bank announces earnings
Ouachita Independent Bank ended 2011 in the black, posting a pre-tax profit of $8.9 million.
OIB officials made that announcement in a news release issued last week.
"The bank's tradition of growth and profits continued, with Total Assets ending the year at $567.6 million and income before tax growing to $8.9 million, both nice increases to the performances seen in 2010," the news release said.
