Bible Museum hosts director's tour Explore the Bible Museum with Executive Director Ralph Calhoun as he tells the stories behind many of the artifacts on display including Bibles, Russian Icons, paintings of plants of the Bible, Mediterranean Antiquities and the artwork of Arkansas native Don Marr.
This will be the second time Calhoun has given a Director's Tour of the current exhibits, but he guarantees new material. "I've learned a few new things since I offered a similar tour in November. As I have been researching educational programs, I have encountered new information that will be included in this tour."
Calhoun has enough stories about the artifacts to keep the content fresh for visitors and himself. "I know most of the items I will point out, but each group has its own personality and that can significantly change my presentation. If someone from the 10:00 group compares notes with the 6:00 group, I think they will see that the experiences differed, plus it's more fun for me that way." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
