Police Jury kicks off new year with tax vote

When the Ouachita Parish Police Jury is seated at next week's first regular meeting of the year, there will be a new face at the bench.

Scotty Robinson will be sworn in as the District A police juror. Robinson defeated incumbent juror Charles Jackson in the Oct. 22 election.

Robinson told The Ouachita Citizen he's ready to get to work.
