Legislature welcomes new faces Three new faces will join the Ouachita Parish legislative delegation for the official inauguration next Monday.
Jay Morris of Monroe defeated incumbent Rep. Sam Little of Bastrop for the District 14 seat in the House. Marcus Hunter of Monroe replaces Rosalind Jones, who decided not to seek re-election, in District 17. And Katrina Jackson succeeds the term-limited Kay Kellogg Katz in representing a redrawn District 16.
