Anderson prepares for Miss America
Miss Louisiana 2011, Hope Anderson will begin her quest for the Miss America crown Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012.
She will leave the Monroe Regional Airport at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The Miss America Pageant will be held at the Planet Hollywood Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Jan. 10-14. Preliminary competition will be the 10th, 11th, 12th and the live televised finals will air on ABC at 7 p.m. Central time on Jan. 14. Anderson's competition schedule is as follows:
