Congratulations All-Parish Team The 2011 Ouachita Parish high school football season was full of highlights for area schools. Three state championships, one state runner up and two perfect seasons were just some of the team achievements that made headlines.
For the first time in LHSAA history, three teams from the same parish (Ouachita) went to the state championship in the same year. In the Superdome, Neville, Ouachita Christian and West Monroe took care of business and brought home three state titles for their respective schools.
When reviewing the season, one could have a hard time picking out the individual achievements that warrant postseason recognition. When a student sacrifices their personal time and effort for the betterment of their school and community, that sacrifice deserves recognition.
With this in mind, The Ouachita Citizen is proud to present the All Parish football team for the 2011 season. With the assistance of the parish coaches, our team of sports media experts from print, radio and television choose the very best players and coaches from the 2011 season. For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
