Coaches of theYear - Neville's Mickey McCarty and OCS's Steven Fitzhugh One school is an iconic symbol for tradition and winning in football.
The other school is relatively new, spreading its wings and casting its own legacy across the gridiron.
At the helm of these two storied football programs, you will find the 2011 All Parish Co-Coaches of the Year – Ouachita Christian's Steven Fitzhugh and Neville's Mickey McCarty.
Entering the 2011 season, both coaches have led their teams to several district titles and one state championship each. Still one thing remained unclaimed by both — a perfect season.
