WM audit issues fixed Officials in the City of West Monroe say that the findings highlighted in a recent external audit have been addressed and that the solutions should prevent similar problems in the future.
Last week, West Monroe released its official audit for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Among the findings cited by the accounting firm of Cameron, Hines and Hartt, were an employee theft at Kiroli Park, a lack of adequate inventory controls at the West Monroe Convention Center and delayed filing of a tax report with the Internal Revenue Service.
West Monroe Mayor Dave Norris said the audit contained few, if any, surprises.
